Where is Studio 12 Art Gallery located?
We are located at the intersection of 2nd and Kalamath Street at 209 Kalamath Street, Suite 12 Denver, CO 80223 in Denver's Art District (west side of Kalamath Street).
What are Studio 12 Art Gallery's hours?
We are open Monday - Friday 10am-6pm, Saturdays from 11am-4pm and until 9pm on the First Friday of EVERY month.
Where can I park at Studio 12 Art Gallery?
We have plenty of free street parking in front of Studio 12 Art Gallery along Kalamath Street and along 2nd Street.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all credit cards, cash, check and money orders.
How much does it cost to visit Studio 12 Art Gallery?
Visiting Studio 12 Gallery is always free for everyone.
Is Studio Art 12 Gallery wheelchair accessible?
Yes!
Is the artwork for sale?
Yes! And you will find a different selection monthly. Prices for original artwork often start at under $100!
I am an artist. How do I get my work exhibited at Studio 12 Art Gallery?
There are a few ways to exhibit your work at Studio 12 Art Gallery:
You may submit your artwork to any juried show. Click HERE to see Studio 12 Gallery's current "Call for Artist" opportunities.
You may rent the gallery to showcase your artwork or your group's artwork. It is more affordable and profitable than you might think. Email us at sean@studio12gallery.com for details.
Does Studio 12 Art Gallery show photography?
Yes. Photos must be signed, numbered and in a limited edition.
What is a juried art show?
A juried art show is a show that accepts applications both 2D and 3D (along with a non-refundable entry fee) from all interested artists. Once the application process closes a curator chooses the artwork for the show from the art entrys. Some artwork will be accepted some may not be accepted into the show.
Who juries Studio 12 Art Gallery's shows?
Studio 12 Art Gallery staff does not jury our shows. We choose a different artist/curator/professor who best encompasses the show theme to curate each show.
What does making my piece "ready to hang with wire" entail?
Studio 12 Art Gallery's hanging system requires all 2D artwork to be "ready to hang with wire". Please click HERE to learn how to prepare your artwork. All 3D is also eligible.
Can Studio 12 Art Gallery frame my artwork?
Yes! We provide quality custom framing at very competitive prices.
Does Studio 12 Art Gallery show reproductions?
No and Yes, all the work we hang in our shows are original works by the original artist. Occasionally we will sell reproductions during a trunk show or special event for one evening.
